Reasons Why People Should Join Churches In Denver

By Rosella Campbell

One of the most common questions many people ask about Christianity is whether it is a rule to be part of a local church. While churches in Denver are flooded every Sunday with believers who want to know more about Christ, there are people out there who are still not sure about this issue. Below are reasons why, as a Christian, you should consider joining a church.

You do not really have to go to church to be saved because you can always make a prayer even at home and confess Jesus as your Lord and savior. Once you have done that, you qualify to be a young person in Christ. However, you will need to join other believers as a sign of assurance of your salvation.

Anyone who is in Christ is a new creation, their old life is completely gone and they are now a new creature. This Biblical approach is true for sure but there is a problem. Many Christians think that once they are born again, they are okay and do not need to be part of the body of Christ. The truth is that if you profess Christ and still have no desire to be part of other believers, you are not a mature Christian.

The only God-given way for humankind to be sure of their salvation is to join the church and be happy they are part of the body of Christ. When you worship with other people, you get the chance to grow in Christ, allowing the word of Christ to dwell in you richly. Once you allow other believers in your life, you level of maturity rises and overtime, you are able to strengthen your faith in Christ.

You need to know that you can bring glory to God by the way you live your life and the best way to honor God is to obey him. The best way to obey God is to come together as believers to worship, praise, glorify and worship God. When you come together in unity and harmony, you will find an assurance in Christ, confidence to evangelize to the world and the ability to serve one another.

If you have the spirit of God and the mind of Christ, you will find yourself having the desire to join other Christians, be part of them, and worship with as well as serving them. If you say that you know Jesus but lack the desire to join other believers in the church, then you are not a mature Christian. Pray to God to give the desire to be part of others so that you grow strong together.

When you interact with other believers, you will begin to understand what Christianity really is. You will stop seeing it as a religion and reason with other people. You will stop seeing it as a self-based religion as see it as the body of Christ himself. When you interact with and serve other Christians, you will begin to see what Christianity is like.

Be sure of one thing; the more you spend time with other people in the church, the more you are able to grow strong in Christ. You are able to understand the plan of God for your life. You will know the main reason why he created you.
