The Question On Whether Will The Antichrist Be A Muslim

By Essie Osborn

The classical thought on the coming of the Antichrist is that, he is more likely to be of a Caucasian descent and from Europe. This is in relation to book of Daniel however the notion could be taking a turn which brings us to the questioning will the Antichrist be a Muslim. The reason being in recent time, the Muslim have been seen as radical in their aim to conquer the world for Allah.

There are suggestions or facts from literature that imply that, he would come from the Eastern territory of Rome. This is the present day Italy. Syria or Assyria as it was commonly known, and Iraq are some of the nations that are more likely to produce the antichrist. These countries have a huge composition of Muslims and by so saying it majorly implies that he will come from a region heavily inhabited by Muslims or he himself will be one.

The biblical description of Antichrist is as that of a Leopard, with feet like that of a bear, and finally the mouth of a lion. This description befits the Babylonian Empire that is illustrated as lion. The Persian Empire in relation to the bear and finally the Macedonian empire ruled by Alexander the Great.

The bible describes Antichrist as a Leopard, having feet corresponding those of a bear, and with a mouth fitting the description of a lion. This account suits the Babylonian Realm that was showed as lion in those days. The Persian Territory in relative to him looking like a bear and lastly the Macedonian kingdom administered by Alexander the Great.

The whole idea of him being a Muslim has drawn comparison to the current Syrian president Bashar al-Assad. This is because he is believed to be coming from the Middle East. Syria lies at the boundary between Europe and the East. Its political instability and constant feuds with Israel brings the notion that at time would come when this man unite the two nations together under the veil of peace.

Islam as a religion and its stand point in the whole issue about Antichrist is quite vague. It does not fully give us the clear picture and the answers to questions pertaining the religion of the anti-Christ. This however is addressed in the bible which categorically says he would be an enemy to the church and fight the true Christian believers.

The Muslim faith does not give a true picture and revelation on whether he will be a Muslim. Islam as a religion has its own beliefs and prepositions in turn the same applies to Christianity. The biblical scriptures give a more holistic view and naming of this man. It is therefore easier to say that he will come from the Islamic religion in light to fact that the religion cannot defend itself.

It is really hard to squarely point on the geographical are these people would come from. Contrary, the information provided however how little it can shade light on this whole topic and where we can expect he will come from.
